Zuzu Luxe Sahara Eyeshadow
Thursday, June 25, 2015
Today's post is all about that bronze! I love those bronzed up Victoria's Secret eye looks, don't you?! So let's take a look at one of my favorite bronze eyeshadows, Zuzu Luxe eyeshadow in Sahara.

Last time we reviewed Zuzu Luxe Chameleon and before that Zuzu Luxe Egyptian Gold, if you missed those posts, I'll link them here and here.
Zuzu Luxe is a leaping bunny certified cruelty-free cosmetics brand, made with all natural ingredients and inspired by the European spa tradition. Zuzu Luxe is a line from the vegan makeup brand Gabriel Cosmetics. All of their makeup is vegan, however, they do have a series of makeup brushes made with cruelty-free animal hair as well. Zuzu Luxe cosmetics are also certified gluten-free.
Zuzu Luxe Sahara eyeshadow is a rich, velvety bronze with warm golden shimmer.
Just like Zuzu Luxe Chameleon and Egyptian Gold, Sahara has a buttery smooth texture, which makes blending effortless. These eyeshadows are also highly pigmented with excellent color payoff. They all wear flawlessly from morning till night, without creasing or fading all day. With that said, I do always wear an eye primer, my go-to for years has been Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
In the photos above I'm wearing Zuzu Luxe eyeshadows:
- Egyptian Gold (all over lid and inner corner)
- Chameleon (outer V and lower lash line)
- Sahara (upper lash line)

Zuzu Luxe Eyeshadow Ingredients: Mica (Mineral), Cetyl Palmitate (Sunflower), Silica (Mineral), Kaolin (Clay), Zinc Stearate (Mineral), Jojoba Oil (Organic), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Coconut), Lecithin (Sunflower), Sea Fennel Extract (Organic), Tocopheryl Acetate (Avocado), Iron Oxides (Mineral), Titanium Dioxide (Mineral).
The packaging is Zuzu Luxe's classic silver compact, with a frosted top. The compact is a type of plastic but has a sturdy feel, and is 2 inches (50mm) in diameter.
They also offer a recycle program here.
Overall, if you love a good sultry bronze eye look, Zuzu Luxe Sahara eyeshadow is well worth checking out, it's definitely a must-have in my eyeshadow collection.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Have you tried any products from Zuzu Luxe or Gabriel Cosmetics? I would love to hear what you think and if you have any favorites!
