Zuzu Luxe Terra Cotta LiplinerSunday, June 28, 2015
Some colors just make you feel good, don't they? For me, the warm burnished sunlit hue of terra cotta has always brightened my day. The sunny clay pottery color brings to mind places like Italy, Spain and Morocco... All places I dream of visiting one day. Terra cotta also happens to be a popular color inspiration for blushes, bronzers, lipsticks, lipliners and more.
Zuzu Luxe is a line from the vegan makeup brand Gabriel Cosmetics. They're one of my favorite cruelty-free makeup brands and are gluten-free as well. *All of their makeup is vegan, however, they do have a series of animal hair makeup brushes that are cruelty-free.
Zuzu Luxe lipliners are richly pigmented, glide on smooth and feel good on the lips. Their formula contains all natural ingredients, including jojoba oil for added moisturizing benefits. Average wear time has been around 3 hours, or from meal to meal.
All Gabriel Cosmetics and Zuzu Luxe products are made in the USA, except their pencils, which are made in Germany. Zuzu Luxe lipliners retail for $13.80 USD on their website here.
Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Organic Candelilla) Wax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Coconut), Simmondsia Chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Avocado), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Crithmum Maritimum (Organic Sea Fennel) Extract, Hectorite (Naturally Occurring Clay/Mineral), Lecithin (Sunflower), Iron Oxides (Mineral), Titanium Dioxide (Mineral).
Overall, Zuzu Luxe Lipliners are well worth checking out. They are definitely some of the best lipliners I've had and the fact that these are all natural, cruelty-free, vegan and gluten-free makes you feel good about using them.
Below are swatches of the Zuzu Luxe lipliners that I have in my collection.
Do you own any Zuzu Luxe or Gabriel Cosmetics? I would love to hear your thoughts or favorites!
